About Ski area Isola
ISOLA – Isola ski resort, with more than 300 sun days a year, is situated in the south of the French Alps. Due to its specific location (close to Genoa – Genoa cyclone) it is abundant with snow during the whole winter season.
Isola village is at 2000 meters above sea level and is surrounded with 15 mountain tops which are from 2450 to 2980 meters above sea level. Close proximity to Nice (90 km) and its great bus connection to the ski resort makes possible a trip to the most famous spot on the Azzure coast for a symbolic price of a few euros and approximately two hours of driving. Isola 2000 Ski Resort has 120 km of trails (3 black, 11 red, 21 blue and 7 green) and 20 various types of ski lifts (2 gondolas, 10 lifts, 7 chairlifts and 1 cable car).
Ski pass includes Auron Ski Resort as well (35 km from Isola) with 135 km of trails (8 black, 16 red, 16 blue, 2 green) so with one ski pass you can ski on 255 km of trails in total. In the village you can find a large selection of apres-ski content concentrated in the central gallery below the ski resort (restaurants, bars, cinema, bowling alley, two disco clubs, pharmacy, shops, ski repair shops, etc.) and the rest of the restaurants can be found in front of the gallery complex.
