Ski area Les Orres

LES ORRES is a ski resort with all the necessary infrastructure of a modern tourist center at the breathtaking location. It is situated above the city of Embrun and the Durance valley and offers a beautiful view of the Serre-Ponçon lake, which is the largest man-made lake in Europe. A new settlement, Orres Bois Méan was built in 2008. at 1.800 meters above sea level. Orres is an excellent destination for all levels of skiers, as well as families with children. There is a kindergarten for children aged from 6 months to 5 years with an outdoor playground, snow playground for children aged 3 to 6 years and Juni – Orres club for children aged 6 to 12 years.

Ski resort: 90 kilometers of ski trails (21 red, 3 black, 4 blue and 7 green), 21 different types of cable cars, snowpark. Due to the altitude and position, snow conditions are very favorable during the whole season. La Pousterie black trail is one of three in France approved by the International Ski Federation.
