Chamonix Mont Blanc is a small town with a long tradition, because of which it is often called the cradle of alpinism and home of the freeride and extreme sports. It is hidden between the highest massives in the Alps and is situated at 1035 meters above sea level. Ski resort Chamonix is exceptionally well connected because of the 11,6 km long Mont Blanc tunnel.
